If you cannot attend your appointment, you must notify us as soon as possible. You can do this either via helsenorge.no or by phone. The number for the department can be found in your appointment letter.

Fee if you do not show up

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment and have not notified us earlier than 24 hours before the appointment, you will have to pay a fee.

Information about co-payment and exemption card

Companions, relatives, or partners are welcome to accompany during outpatient consultations and treatments.

Visiting specialized departments

We want to take care of the whole family while protecting the smallest and most vulnerable from infection.

Healthy siblings are welcome to visit you in the neonatal intensive care unit. Other children unfortunately cannot visit the neonatal intensive care unit.

All visitors must be completely healthy.

Visitors should not be exposed to infections (vomiting/diarrhea, herpes/cold sores, chickenpox, RSV virus, colds). Talk to the staff if you are in doubt.

Both younger siblings and other visitors must wash their hands thoroughly when they come to visit.

Siblings and other relatives can be with you in the room. Only parents and the admitted child may stay in the dining room.

Sick newborns and premature children need peace. Avoid loud talking and noise. Thank you for being considerate of the other families here.

During periods of high risk for infection spread in the general population, we have stricter visiting restrictions. The staff will inform you of what applies at any given time.

We do not have fixed visiting hours at the children's and youth clinic. Most patients enjoy receiving visits; however, this depends on the child's condition. Siblings who come to visit should be in the room with the patient to avoid too much disturbance and potential spread of infection in the corridor.

It must be arranged in advance if siblings are to visit the neonatal intensive care unit.

Pasientens nærmeste som kan komme på besøk. Av hensyn til pasientene er det bare to besøkende som kan være inne om gangen.

Intensivavdelingen har faste besøkstider klokken 12.00–14.00 og 17.00–19.00.
