From 16 November 2025, Stavanger University Hospital will have two main locations: Ullandhaug and Våland. On this page, you will find important information about your hospital visit.

Getting to the right location
Stavanger University Hospital will be split between two main sites:
Ullandhaug (new hospital building)
Våland (current hospital area)
Inpatient wards (hospital stays)
All inpatient wards currently located at Våland will move to Ullandhaug on 16 November 2025.
Exeption: Mental health care will not move. These services will remain at Våland, as they are today.
Outpatient clinics and day clinics
Most outpatient and day clinics will remain at Våland. Some will move to Ullandhaug.
