On September 17, 2025, the Danish Council for Resuscitation organized its tenth Resuscitation Academy in Odense, Denmark. Researchers and leaders in emergency medicine from all over Denmark gathered to share experiences with treating cardiac arrest.

Conrad Bjørshol from RAKOS gave a presentation about subproject 113 and why Norwegian guidelines for cardiopulmonary resuscitation were changed in 2021, where you should call the emergency number as soon as you find an unconscious patient, and not check for breathing first.

The rest of Europa will introduce the same changes in October 2025. In addition, Camilla Hardeland from Østfold University College taught about her research on recognizing cardiac arrest in emergency medicine.
