RAKOS participated at the European Stroke Organization Conference 15-17. May in Basel, Switzerland. Research student Nedim Leto presented results from his sub-study on the role of pasient age in time delays and symptom presentation to AMK in cerebral infarction.
The results show that younger patients do not have a longer time delay than older patients and they are recognized as having a stroke by AMK to the same extent. In contrast, they more often present with non-focal stroke symptoms. You can read more about this in the file below.
