Stavanger University Hospital plays an important role in educating the population on health issues. Emplyees contribute through meetings, presentations and conferences to various patient organisations and other organisations. In addition, SUH is often represented in the media in various articles.

A number of our employees holds positions on both national and international committees and boards. The hospital is a major contributer in organising and hosting national and international conferences such as Research Days, National Psychiatry Week, Scandinavian Update 2007 and Resuscitation 2006.
